Our Mission.

Minds Matter Cymru are on a mission to help young individuals cultivate the skills and tools necessary for greater psychological flexibility and resilience, enabling them to achieve their full potential across various aspects of their lives—academically, socially, and emotionally.

What you can achieve with Minds Matter Cymru:

  • Boost Awareness

  • Boost Resilience

  • Boost Confidence

  • Boost Wellbeing

We aim to support the mental well-being of young people, fostering resilience and encouraging them to realise their capabilities. We believe that when young individuals are resilient, mentally adaptable, and confident, they can more effectively engage socially, excel in their education, and contribute positively to their communities. This, in turn, fosters a well-rounded population of thriving youth.

Our Why

Through our diverse experience in delivering therapeutic interventions across various educational settings, it has become clear that young people are increasingly aware of mental health issues.

Many possess a greater understanding of mental well-being and can recognise signs of mental ill health in themselves and others.

However, what is often missing are the essential skills that these individuals can rely on during difficult times to nurture their own mental health and well-being.

Our Approach.

At Minds Matter Cymru, our approach is grounded in kindness, respect, responsibility, hard work, and fun.

We believe in fostering a positive and engaging learning experience where every minds matters.

We design, develop and deliver comprehensive psycho-educational programmes that strategically apply theoretical and evidence-based approaches in order to develop life-long skills in managing mental health and wellbeing.

Delivering material in a variety of formats bilingually (English/Welsh) .

We deliver:

  • In person,

  • Remotely,

  • Online wellbeing platform/hub.

We adopt an inclusive approach to educating all young people in how to manage their mental health and wellbeing.
